Job Description

Origin is seeking a dynamic Product Manager to join our innovative team, focusing on the development of autonomous robots for critical infrastructure projects. This role is integral to our mission of accelerating the buildout of data centers and power plants, addressing challenges related to cost, safety, and labor shortages.

In this position, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software developers, and commercial stakeholders. Your expertise will be crucial in translating complex technical capabilities into clear customer value propositions and ensuring the successful delivery and performance of our robotics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Own and prioritize the product roadmap, balancing customer impact, technical feasibility, and business goals
Work closely with engineering teams (hardware, firmware, software) to define clear requirements and ensure timely delivery
Conduct customer discovery calls, site visits, and interviews to deeply understand pain points in industrial/robotics environments
Translate complex technical capabilities into clear value propositions for customers and stakeholders
Define success metrics and track product performance post-launch
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to support go-to-market strategies
Stay current on trends in robotics, automation, and adjacent industries

Qualifications

3–6 years of product management experience, ideally in hardware, robotics, industrial tech, or deep-tech
Strong technical foundation, you can hold your own in conversations with engineers about systems, sensors, or software architecture
Experience working on physical products (a big plus)
Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and visual
Comfort with ambiguity and ability to make decisions with incomplete information
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
