Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead local and regional business opportunities within the vital Niger Delta region.

This role is instrumental in driving the commercialization and technical promotion of our comprehensive range of steel foundation products, including sheet piles, foundation pipes, and beams. You will leverage your commercial expertise, customer relationship management skills, and technical knowledge to achieve significant sales objectives.

Your responsibilities will include cultivating strong relationships with key industry players, managing project leads, providing essential technical support, and preparing compelling offers to ensure successful project closures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop local and regional business opportunities (project sales & stockholding) within the Niger Delta region
  • Ensure regular contact through visits to project owners, contractors, engineering companies, and installation sub-contractors
  • Follow up on project leads and develop a database of projects under development
  • Provide technical support for projects and transfer inquiries to the design team
  • Develop a database and ranking of projects within the region and update weekly reports
  • Support the organization of technical seminars for stakeholders
  • Prepare offers and ensure follow-up until closure
  • Provide detailed market analysis, monitor competition, and follow new market tendencies
  • Offer after-sales support and handle techno-commercial claims
  • Achieve yearly sales objectives and KPIs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a Commercial discipline and/or Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years sales and business development experience, preferably in Oil and Gas Services/EPC
  • Residing in the Niger Delta region
  • Experience in the Construction and/Oil & Gas industry with access or contacts
  • Working knowledge of commercial and contractual expertise
  • Conversant with basic and/or advanced foundation design software
  • Ability to provide design support and job site assistance
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial, and independent worker
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Good communication and reporting skills
  • Open-minded and dynamic
