Job Description
BAS Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join their dynamic team in Abuja.
This role is crucial for overseeing the financial operations of the group, ensuring robust financial health and strategic growth. You will be instrumental in managing budgets, financial planning, analysis, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
The position involves periodic travel to Lagos, offering a broad scope of responsibility across different operational hubs.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all financial operations of the group.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
- Prepare and analyze budgets, financial forecasts, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial stakeholders.
- Oversee audit processes and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls.
- Provide financial guidance and support to senior management.
- Lead and mentor the finance team.
Qualifications
- BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- MBA or MSc is an added advantage.
- ACA, ACCA, or CFA certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial management.
- Experience in a group or holding company structure is preferred.
- Strong experience in budgeting, financial planning & analysis, audit, tax, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and ERP systems.
- High level of integrity, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
