Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Health Information Assistant to join our healthcare team in Ikeja, Lagos.

In this vital role, you will be responsible for the meticulous organization, management, and confidential maintenance of patient health records and medical information. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our healthcare services.

Key duties include collecting and updating patient records, ensuring all health information is accurate and properly documented, and assisting with patient registration and appointment scheduling. You will also be tasked with retrieving and filing medical records, maintaining strict confidentiality of patient data, and preparing reports and health data summaries.

Furthermore, you will respond to patient inquiries professionally, support healthcare staff with administrative tasks, and ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and record-keeping standards. Entering patient data into electronic health record systems will also be a core part of your responsibilities.

  • Good organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is an advantage
