Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with the company’s marketing and business objectives.
  • Manage and grow the company’s presence across social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
  • Create, curate, and publish engaging content, including captions, graphics, videos, stories, and user-generated content.
  • Build, nurture, and manage online communities by responding to comments, messages, reviews, and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor conversations about the brand and proactively manage the company’s online reputation.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and strategic content delivery.
  • Collaborate with the design, marketing, and product teams to create campaigns that increase engagement and drive conversions.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics such as engagement, reach, follower growth, community sentiment, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Identify emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices and recommend innovative ideas to improve performance.
  • Plan and execute influencer collaborations, community activations, contests, giveaways, and engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support crisis communication efforts and manage sensitive community interactions professionally.
  • Prepare periodic reports and recommendations to optimize social media performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND qualification in Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in social media management, community management, or digital marketing.
  • Proven experience managing multiple social media platforms for a brand or organization.
  • Strong copywriting, storytelling, and content creation skills.
  • Experience using social media management and scheduling tools.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
