Job Description

My Journally, a wellness brand specializing in journals, affirmation cards, and intentional living tools, is seeking a dynamic Social Media Manager and Virtual Assistant. This fully remote role requires a creative, organized, and proactive individual to elevate our online presence and support daily brand operations.

You will be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing engaging content across social media platforms, developing innovative strategies to boost growth and engagement. A key part of your role will be managing our online community, fostering relationships, and increasing brand visibility.

Additionally, you will support brand pitches for bulk orders, identify potential stockists and collaborators, and research upcoming pop-ups and events. This hybrid role includes in-person content creation in Lekki, Lagos, once a month.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and publish engaging content across social media platforms.
  • Develop creative content ideas and strategies that align with the My Journally brand and support growth, engagement, and community building.
  • Engage with relevant accounts and manage the My Journally community to increase visibility, build relationships, and foster meaningful engagement.
  • Support brand pitches for bulk orders, stockists, and brand collaborations.
  • Research and identify upcoming pop ups, events, partnership opportunities, and potential collaborators.

Qualifications

  • Experience using Canva and CapCut.
  • Strong understanding of social media, especially TikTok and Instagram.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.
