Job Description

Heritage Petroleum Company Limited is seeking a dedicated Vendor Management Assistant to join their team on a contract basis.

In this vital role, you will be responsible for coordinating the vendor prequalification process, ensuring that all vendors are properly registered and possess the capabilities to supply goods and services to Heritage Petroleum. Your efforts will directly contribute to maintaining a robust and reliable supply chain.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and evaluating financial and corporate documents submitted by vendors, conducting sanctions checks, and maintaining the Supplier Management Database on SAP Ariba. You will also communicate vendor status updates and collaborate with financial and technical evaluators to ensure timely prequalification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate vendors' submitted financial documents.
  • Prepare Financial Evaluation Recommendations.
  • Review and perform verification checks on vendors' submitted corporate documents.
  • Conduct sanctions checks on vendors.
  • Coordinate with Financial and Technical Evaluators to ensure vendor prequalification is completed within stipulated timeframes.
  • Maintain the Supplier Management Database on SAP Ariba.
  • Communicate with vendors on their Registration and Prequalification status.
  • Undertake any other assignments required from time to time, to fulfil the job purpose.

Qualifications

  • ACCA Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five (5) years working experience.
  • Experience in Vendor Prequalification will be an asset.
  • Experience in SAP Ariba Supplier Management Module will be an asset.
