Job Description

We are actively seeking an experienced and highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in Ikeja, Lagos. This full-time role, with an immediate start, is critical for managing the sourcing and acquisition of essential oil & gas equipment and services within the complex EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) value chain. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with stringent industry standards.

Your responsibilities will encompass developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies, identifying and managing key suppliers, leading commercial negotiations, and overseeing contract execution. You will also be tasked with tracking procurement costs, mitigating supply chain risks, coordinating logistics, and ensuring quality assurance. This position demands a professional with exceptional analytical skills and a deep understanding of the oil & gas EPC landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers and vendors.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and contract management.
  • Oversee tendering, bid evaluations, and contract execution.
  • Track procurement costs, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain and cost-related risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ procurement experience in oil & gas EPC projects.
  • Proven experience with ERP/procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong understanding of sourcing, logistics, and import/export regulations.
  • Experience working with IOCs, NOCs, and EPC contractors is a strong advantage.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
