Job Description
Àwa, a dynamic creative studio and collective based in Lagos, is seeking a motivated Client Acquisition Associate to join our team. This role is pivotal in expanding our client base by identifying, engaging, and converting new business opportunities. You will be the primary point of contact, bringing brands and individuals who value high-quality creative work into the Àwa ecosystem.
In this relationship-first position, your goal is to understand client needs thoroughly, ensuring the right brief is established for exceptional creative outcomes. You will guide potential clients from initial contact through to a confirmed engagement, playing a crucial role in our growth.
Your typical day will involve reviewing your active pipeline, following up on leads, and updating conversation statuses. You'll dedicate time to researching and identifying new prospects within Lagos's vibrant brand and business landscape, crafting personalized outreach messages, and initiating contact via email, social media, or professional networking platforms.
Mid-day may include consultation calls where you'll listen to client needs, articulate Àwa's offerings, and move prospects towards a confirmed brief. Post-call, you'll meticulously log notes and set clear next steps. The remainder of your day will focus on prospecting, follow-ups, and preparing for the next outreach cycle. Occasional check-ins with the Àwa team will ensure alignment on capacity, pricing, and specific pitches. While no two days are identical, your consistent focus will be on finding the right clients and initiating meaningful conversations.

Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify brands, businesses, and individuals who would benefit from Àwa's creative services
- Initiate and manage outreach across email, social media, and in-person networking
- Qualify leads and communicate Àwa's offering clearly and compellingly
- Schedule and facilitate consultation calls between prospects and the Àwa team
- Maintain a structured pipeline and provide regular updates on outreach activity and conversion
- Represent Àwa's values and aesthetic sensibility in every client interaction
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and hit targets
- Familiarity with Lagos's creative, brand, and business landscape is a strong advantage
- Prior experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles is preferred
