Job Description

Our fashion brand in Gbagada is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Social Media Handler/Content Creator to join our team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about fashion and adept at creating compelling digital content.

You will be responsible for developing and executing a monthly content calendar, planning campaign rollouts, and creating engaging photo and video content, including Reels, TikToks, and Stories. Your duties will also include writing captivating captions, designing simple graphics, and maintaining brand consistency across all platforms.

Furthermore, you will manage social media communities by responding to DMs and comments, schedule content, and track analytics to report on performance and adjust strategies. Collaboration with creative and production teams, as well as coordinating influencer collaborations, will also be part of your role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a monthly content calendar aligned with brand goals and product launches
  • Plan and coordinate campaign rollouts for new drops, sales, and brand moments
  • Stay ahead of trends and adapt them to fit the BOD brand voice
  • Create engaging photo and video content (Reels, TikTok, Stories, static posts)
  • Shoot and edit high-quality short-form videos
  • Write compelling captions that drive engagement and sales
  • Design simple graphics using Canva or similar tools
  • Maintain brand consistency across all platforms
  • Schedule and publish content consistently
  • Manage DMs and comments professionally and promptly
  • Build and nurture an engaged online community
  • Engage daily with followers and target audiences
  • Increase followers, engagement rate, and conversions
  • Support product launches with strategic content
  • Track analytics and provide weekly performance reports
  • Adjust strategy based on insights and performance data
  • Work closely with the creative and production teams
  • Coordinate influencer collaborations and UGC
  • Assist during campaign shoots and brand activations

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Handler or Content Creator
  • Strong portfolio showcasing content creation skills (photo, video, graphics)
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and scheduling tools
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills
  • Experience with Canva or similar design tools
  • Understanding of social media analytics and reporting
  • Ability to work flexibly (3 days on-site, 2 days off-site)
