Job Description

Caiz is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Token Economics Analyst to join our growing team. This role is crucial for supporting the development, optimization, and monitoring of Caiz's token economy, ensuring its long-term value, usability, and ecosystem growth.

You will collaborate with product, finance, marketing, and strategy teams to model token flows, simulate market impacts, analyze user behavior, and propose mechanisms that strengthen the utility and adoption of Caiz’s token, while ensuring compliance and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Design, model, and evaluate the tokenomics of Caiz's ecosystem, including utility, supply/demand dynamics, incentive structures, and governance mechanisms.
Build detailed financial and simulation models to test the impact of token policies and ecosystem changes.
Analyze on-chain and off-chain data to monitor token performance, user adoption, liquidity, and circulation metrics.
Conduct benchmarking studies on other token models in DeFi, Web3, and crypto platforms to inform improvements.
Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align token utility with user experience and platform goals.
Monitor market trends, token listing strategies, inflation/deflation mechanics, staking models, and governance frameworks.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal leadership and investor communication.
Ensure the token economy is compliant with local and global financial and crypto regulations.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience in tokenomics, crypto research, financial modeling, data analysis, or related fields.
Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, token utilities, DeFi mechanisms, and smart contracts.
Experience in economic modeling and scenario simulations (Excel, Python, R, or blockchain modeling tools).
Familiarity with on-chain data tools (e.g., Dune Analytics, Nansen, Glassnode, Etherscan).
Strong research, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with Layer 1/2 projects, DAOs, staking, governance tokens, or liquidity mining (preferred).
Familiarity with Islamic finance principles or Sharia-compliant financial systems (preferred).
Knowledge of regulatory and legal considerations in token issuance and circulation (preferred).
Experience working in fast-paced, early-stage blockchain or crypto startups (preferred).
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Fluent in English.
