Job Description
Virtru is seeking a dynamic Learning Experience Specialist to join our growing Technical Training team. In this remote role, you will be instrumental in developing and delivering engaging learning content that supports our Data Security Platform (DSP) ecosystem.
Your primary responsibilities will include creating on-demand multimedia learning experiences, such as training videos and self-paced modules, and managing our Learning Management System (LMS). You will collaborate closely with the Director of Training and Technical Curriculum Developer to transform complex technical concepts into scalable and accessible learning resources.
This position is key to accelerating customer and partner enablement, ensuring global reach and adoption of Virtru's innovative data security solutions. - Script, record, and edit training videos and product demos.
- Convert ILT/VILT session recordings into modular on-demand content.
- Produce scenario-based video content with visual consistency and branding.
- Build microlearning assets with interactive assessments and quizzes.
- Design engaging learning experiences using adult learning principles.
- Create job aids, runbooks, and visual reference materials.
- Transform existing ILT materials into asynchronous learning experiences.
- Repurpose Bootcamp content into a scalable on-demand library.
- Rationalize and modernize legacy training materials.
- Apply instructional design fundamentals to create intuitive content navigation.
- Design assessments that validate learning and provide feedback.
- Gather and analyze learner feedback to improve content effectiveness.
- Support LMS implementation and rollout activities.
- Manage day-to-day LMS administration, including publishing content, creating courses, and managing enrollments.
- Generate reports and analytics dashboards to track learning outcomes.
- Maintain content version control and ensure appropriate audience access.
- Support migration of existing training materials into the LMS.
- Manage ILT/VILT scheduling, invitations, and learner communications.
- Coordinate Partner Bootcamp logistics and learner support.
- Track training initiatives in Jira.
- Serve as a point of contact for learner support and troubleshooting.
- Assist with course outlines and curriculum structure.
- Conduct learner interviews and feedback analysis.
- Peer-review training materials for clarity and quality.
- Support standardized intake and prioritization processes for training requests.
- Co-facilitate ILT/VILT sessions as producer/co-facilitator.
- Host webinars and orientation sessions.
- Collaborate on internal Virtruvian technical onboarding initiatives.
- Gather session feedback and CSAT data for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in learning & development, instructional design, training coordination, technical support, customer success, sales engineering, or similar enablement-adjacent roles.
- Demonstrated ability to organize complex information and turn it into clear, simple artifacts.
- Strong project coordination and follow‑through skills.
- Comfortable working with technical concepts (cloud, SaaS, security, or dev tools) and willing to learn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to technical and non-technical audiences.
- High comfort with modern collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Jira, Confluence, etc.).
- Experience in technical curriculum development, technical training delivery, or deeply technical enablement roles (nice to have).
- Familiarity with data governance, access control models, policy-as-code, or DLP/classification frameworks (nice to have).
- Exposure to DevOps tooling, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code tools, containers, or modern deployment workflows (nice to have).
- Familiarity with programming or experience reading code snippets (e.g., Go, Java, JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, Bash) (nice to have).
- Experience collaborating with engineering, product, and support teams (nice to have).
- Strong writing, editing, and instructional design skills (nice to have).
- Self-starter mindset, comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure (nice to have).
