Job Description

Bayse is building a prediction market and trading platform, where design is not just about aesthetics but about trust, clarity, speed, and helping users make decisions with confidence.

As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for designing core trading experiences that users rely on daily, including market discovery, trade execution, positions, portfolios, and performance insights. You will work at the intersection of product, engineering, and quantitative thinking, translating complex market mechanics into simple, intuitive interfaces.

You will be held to a high bar for craft, usability, and consistency. This is a high ownership role for someone who can take ambiguous problems, define the right user experience, and ship production-ready designs that move key business metrics. Experience designing financial or trading products, or understanding prediction markets, is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own core platform UX, designing and improving the end-to-end trading experience.
  • Ensure flows are clear, consistent, and reduce user error, designing safeguards for high-stakes actions.
  • Translate market mechanics into intuitive interaction patterns and UI that feels simple, fast, and reliable.
  • Produce high-quality user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI for web and mobile.
  • Drive alignment on requirements, constraints, and tradeoffs with product and engineering.
  • Contribute to a scalable design system and component library.
  • Pull insights from user feedback, support logs, session reviews, and product metrics to iterate.
  • Own post-launch iteration, measure impact, and continuously refine experiences.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience designing high-usage digital products, with strong examples of shipped work.
  • A portfolio demonstrating excellent product thinking, high-quality UI craft, and clear reasoning behind decisions.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, including interactive prototyping and design systems workflows.
  • Solid understanding of UX/UI fundamentals, information design, accessibility, and mobile-first interaction patterns.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity, define the problem, propose strong solutions, and drive work to completion with high ownership.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of prediction markets, or experience designing finance or trading interfaces is a major advantage.
  • Comfortable working at high standards and pace.
