About the Company
Job Description
AI Acquisition is seeking a dynamic Head of Account Management to spearhead client relationships and build a scalable function within a rapidly growing AI services business.
In this critical role, you will inherit existing clients and be responsible for establishing the standards and operational model for account management at scale. Your initial focus will be on deeply understanding the client base, identifying areas for improvement, and architecting a robust system that ensures client success and retention.
Success in this position will be measured by the effectiveness and autonomy of the account management function you build, rather than your direct client management efforts. You will report to senior leadership, responsible for team development and overall client outcomes.
AI Acquisition is a multi-8-figure company dedicated to helping founders and operators scale with AI, serving over 3,000 clients and 200 mastermind participants. The company operates with speed and scale, driven by a sales and delivery engine designed for rapid growth.
Your core responsibilities will include designing and owning the account management operating model, developing playbooks and metrics, and driving retention and expansion targets. You will also be tasked with hiring, developing, and leading the account management team. In the early stages, you will carry a direct client load to gain firsthand insights, focusing on retaining and growing high-value accounts and identifying expansion opportunities.
This is a unique opportunity to build a function from the ground up, with real scope from day one. You will gain direct exposure to experienced operators who have scaled products past $100M in revenue. The role offers a stable, fully remote, full-time position at a profitable bootstrapped company, with significant growth potential for the right candidate.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Design and own the account management operating model, including client onboarding, retention, expansion, and escalation at scale.
- Build playbooks, metrics, and systems to ensure the account management function operates efficiently without constant direct involvement.
- Define and track weekly retention and expansion metrics.
- Hire, develop, and lead the account management team as the function grows.
- Bridge the gap between sales, delivery, and the client through structural improvements.
- Carry a direct client load during the initial phase to understand client needs and identify areas for system development.
- Retain and grow $100K+ accounts through strong communication and commercial acumen.
- Identify and close expansion opportunities within the existing client base.
- Provide structured, actionable feedback to the delivery team to enhance the product.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in account management, client success, or CS leadership, with experience in building or rebuilding a function.
- Background in management consulting, B2B agency, high-growth information or coaching business, or SaaS, serving sophisticated buyers at $50K–$200K+ contract values.
- Proven experience in building or redesigning a CS or AM operating model, including playbooks, escalation frameworks, and retention metrics.
- Experience leading or growing a team.
- Demonstrated ability to retain high-value clients through challenging periods.
- Comfortable making decisions and operating effectively in ambiguous environments.
- AI-native mindset: ability to think in systems, utilize AI tools daily, and map/improve workflows end-to-end.
- High-agency, low-ego, and fast-moving approach.
- Native or near-native written and spoken English proficiency.
Benefits & Perks
- Competitive base salary ($20,000–$25,000 USD per month) plus a performance bonus tied to retention and expansion outcomes.
- Fully remote work environment, with flexibility to work from the US, UK, UAE, Canada, or Australia.
- Full-time, stable role at a profitable bootstrapped company, offering security and avoiding frequent pivots.
- Direct exposure and reporting line to senior leadership with a track record of scaling products past $100M in revenue.
- Significant growth track, with opportunities to expand scope, take on new product lines, or move into regional leadership roles.
- Opportunity to work with high-value clients and operators at the top end of the market.
