Job Description

Decision Foundry, a recognized "Great Place to Work," is a leading Data Analytics and Salesforce consulting firm committed to delivering transformative digital solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce CRM Technical Analyst to join our remote team, focusing on designing, implementing, and enhancing the Salesforce Sales Cloud platform.

This role is primarily technical, requiring deep hands-on experience with Salesforce development, complex system integrations, and enterprise-scale CRM environments. You will be instrumental in supporting end-to-end Sales Cloud processes, including lead management, opportunity lifecycle, and forecasting, as well as managing proposal and pipeline activities.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining Salesforce solutions using custom objects, fields, record types, and Lightning Experience. You will leverage Flows, Apex, SOQL, and SOSL, and build Lightning Web Components for custom UI. A significant part of the role involves designing, implementing, and supporting bi-directional integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems like Oracle ERP, Oracle HCM, Deltek, and Microsoft 365, utilizing REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.

You will also lead data migration, cleansing, and validation efforts, establish data quality standards, and manage system administration tasks such as user provisioning, security model design, and monitoring system health. The role includes supporting Salesforce Einstein and Agentforce capabilities, designing advanced reports and dashboards, and providing Level 2/3 technical support for incidents and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions using custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and Lightning Experience.
  • Utilize Flows (record-triggered, screen, scheduled), validation rules, and approval processes.
  • Develop using Apex (classes, triggers, batch, schedulable) and SOQL/SOSL.
  • Build Lightning Web Components (LWC) for custom UI and extensions.
  • Support end-to-end Sales Cloud processes including Accounts & Contacts, Lead management and conversion, Opportunity lifecycle and forecasting.
  • Manage proposal and pipeline activities.
  • Design, implement, and support bi-directional integration between Salesforce and enterprise systems, including Oracle ERP (Financials), Oracle HCM, Deltek (Vantagepoint / Vision), Microsoft Outlook / Exchange / Microsoft 365.
  • Work with middleware and integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, Azure Integration Services, or equivalent).
  • Develop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and asynchronous processing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures, performance issues, and data synchronization problems.
  • Lead and support data migration, conversion, and synchronization efforts, including data mapping, transformation, cleansing, and validation.
  • Perform large-volume data loads using Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, or ETL tools.
  • Establish and enforce data quality standards, duplicate management, and governance controls.
  • Support data-related activities during Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and system consolidations.
  • Manage Salesforce administration activities including user provisioning, roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
  • Design security models aligned with business and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor system health, performance, storage usage, and limits.
  • Ensure platform configurations align with Salesforce best practices and enterprise security standards.
  • Support and configure Salesforce Einstein and Agentforce capabilities at a foundational level.
  • Collaborate with architects and business teams to evaluate AI use cases and roadmap opportunities.
  • Design and maintain advanced Salesforce reports and dashboards for sales performance, pipeline, forecasting, and KPIs.
  • Ensure Salesforce data is structured and available for downstream analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI).
  • Support data consumers with optimized reporting and performance tuning.
  • Provide Level 2/3 technical support for Salesforce incidents, enhancements, and defects.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
  • Participate in release management, deployments, regression testing, and environment management (Dev/Test/UAT/Prod).
  • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize performance, scalability, and user experience.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud in a technical or techno-functional role.
  • Strong technical expertise in Salesforce configuration and administration.
  • Strong technical expertise in Apex, SOQL, Flows, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Proven experience designing and supporting enterprise integrations using APIs and middleware platforms.
  • Solid experience with data migration, data quality management, and system integrations.
  • Strong understanding of CRM architecture and Sales Cloud data model.
  • Ability to work effectively with architects, developers, integration teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Hands-on integration experience with Oracle ERP & HCM, Deltek (Vantagepoint/Vision), and Microsoft Outlook / Microsoft 365.
  • Experience in AEC, Engineering, Construction, or project-based industries (Preferred).
  • Experience supporting Salesforce in large, complex, or multi-org environments (Preferred).
  • Exposure to Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, or AI-driven CRM features (Preferred).
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I (or higher), and Sales Cloud Consultant (Preferred).
