Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Practice Nurse to join our team, contributing to high-quality clinical care across our Key Health clinics, with a primary focus on the CBD South location.
In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional patient care within a supportive general practice environment. You will collaborate closely with doctors and the wider healthcare team to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centred services are provided.
Your responsibilities will include providing clinical care in line with professional and safety standards, conducting immunizations, wound care, health assessments, and triage. You will also support chronic disease management and preventative health initiatives, assist doctors with procedures, and maintain accurate patient records.
Ensuring infection control procedures are followed, managing clinical equipment, and supporting quality improvement activities are also key aspects of this position. Furthermore, you will play a role in educating patients on health management and treatments, and supporting other staff members as needed.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Providing clinical care in line with professional and safety standards
- Conducting immunisations, wound care, health assessments, and triage
- Supporting chronic disease management and preventative health initiatives
- Assisting doctors with procedures and clinical tasks
- Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Ensuring infection control procedures and policies are followed
- Managing clinical equipment, supplies, and treatment rooms
- Supporting quality improvement activities and practice accreditation
- Educating patients on health management, treatments, and preventative care
- Supporting and guiding other staff as required
Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse)
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in general practice or primary healthcare (Desirable)
- Experience in chronic disease management and health assessments (Desirable)
- Familiarity with Best Practice software (Desirable)
