Job Description

Cheer Home Care is actively seeking a dedicated Private Duty Registered Nurse to join their team. This per diem role offers a competitive hourly pay rate ranging from $45 to $80, based on experience, with a focus on 12-hour NOC shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication administration, IV therapy, and monitoring of chronic/acute conditions
Manage and monitor patients with complex needs (e.g., ventilators, tracheostomies, feeding tubes)
Recognize early signs of deterioration and intervene appropriately
Educate patients and family members on disease management, medications, and equipment use
Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records
Ensure compliance with home health regulations and infection control practices

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted California registered nurse license
3 years of experience as a registered nurse
Home Health experience preferred
Proof of Negative TB result
Physical Screening Documentation within the last year
Active California Drivers license and car insurance
Cell phone with Internet Access
