We are seeking a skilled Functional Business Analyst / Process Mapping & Design Consultant to join our team.

In this crucial role, you will be responsible for translating complex business needs into clear functional requirements and designing optimized processes. Your expertise will be vital in producing essential documentation such as Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), user stories, and detailed workflow maps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) and supporting documentation.
  • Create clear and structured user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
  • Map current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) workflows using process mapping tools.
  • Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Design functional solutions aligned with business objectives and system capabilities.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirement validation sessions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate implementation of functional designs.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) processes, ensuring delivered solutions meet documented requirements.
  • Continuously recommend process improvements and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in business analysis, process design, or functional consulting.
  • Strong expertise in workflow mapping and process optimization methodologies.
  • Experience developing FSDs, BRDs, and writing structured user stories.
  • Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN tools).
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
