Join a leading Education Tech platform startup in the USA as an Academic Advisor. This role is crucial for supporting students in achieving their educational and career aspirations.
You will provide essential guidance on course selection, academic planning, and career pathways, helping students navigate academic policies and resources effectively.
This position involves working closely with a diverse student body to develop personalized academic plans and offer comprehensive support for their success. Key Responsibilities
- Advise students on course selection, degree requirements, and academic policies.
- Assist students in creating individualized academic and career plans aligned with their goals.
- Provide information on college resources, support services, and transfer opportunities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Academic Advising, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in academic advising or student support services.
- Strong knowledge of academic programs, degree requirements, and student development theories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse student populations.
- Ability to create individualized academic plans and provide career guidance.
- Experience conducting workshops and collaborating with faculty and staff.
- Proficient with advising software, student information systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Empathetic, patient, and dedicated to student success and retention.
