As a Sales Associate, you will be an ambassador of freshness, ensuring every customer enjoys an exceptional in-bakery experience. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals eager to share their passion for quality baked goods with our loyal clientele. While no prior experience is required, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential.

Your daily activities will involve collaborating with a small, dynamic team to deliver outstanding customer service, fostering relationships with regular customers, and effectively merchandising products to support marketing initiatives. You will also contribute to maintaining bakery cleanliness and assist with production tasks, gaining valuable insights into the baking process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience as part of a small team
  • Build relationships with regular and loyal customers
  • Responsible for merchandising products and executing marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain bakery cleanliness
  • Assist with production tasks, including basic baking

Qualifications

  • Pride in providing a great and personable experience for customers

  • Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn new skills
  • Approachable team player who enjoys working with people
  • Relevant retail experience and experience in handling cash, credit card, and debit transactions (strong asset)
  • Ability to perform continuous standing/walking for all tasks
  • Constant use of both hands
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 7.5 kg, reaching below shoulder level, bending, and turning
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 22 kg, pushing, pulling, crouching, bending, and reaching above shoulder level
