Job Description
Embark on a culinary journey as a Head Chef in the vibrant setting of Grand Cayman. This role is an exceptional opportunity to lead a talented kitchen team, crafting authentic and modern Asian dishes that captivate diners.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the kitchen team in preparing and cooking a diverse range of authentic and modern Asian dishes.
- Develop and update menus, incorporating traditional and contemporary culinary styles.
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships.
- Control kitchen expenses, including food costs and labor, to maximize efficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Drive culinary innovation and stay abreast of industry trends.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.
- Plan and execute special events and catering orders.
Qualifications
- Culinary degree or formal training in culinary arts is preferred.
- Several years of experience as a Chef or Sous Chef in an Asian restaurant.
- Proven expertise in preparing a wide range of Asian dishes.
- Mastery of various Asian cooking techniques, including wok cooking and dim sum creation.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Creativity and innovation in menu development.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in food and beverage operations.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Culinary training or certification (preferred).
