Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Radiographer to lead the diagnostic imaging department at a progressive medical diagnostics startup. This leadership role is vital for ensuring the highest standards of imaging quality and patient care.

You will be responsible for overseeing all radiography operations, managing imaging equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Our client is committed to utilizing advanced technology and a patient-centered approach to deliver exceptional diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the radiography department, including staff supervision and scheduling.
  • Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of all diagnostic imaging equipment.
  • Oversee the application of radiation safety protocols and compliance with regulations.
  • Perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures as required.
  • Interpret imaging results in consultation with radiologists and physicians.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs for diagnostic imaging.
  • Train and mentor junior radiographers and staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiography or a related field.
  • Professional registration and licensing (e.g., CORU).
  • Extensive experience in diagnostic radiography, including CT and MRI.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a radiography setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of radiation safety principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems.
