Job Description

Watershed Capital Limited is actively seeking a motivated Graduate Trainee to join our team as a Credit Officer in Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and acquire potential SME clients through direct sales and channel partnerships.
Collect loan applications and supporting documentation.
Maintain regular contact with clients for servicing and cross-selling.
Ensure compliance with KYC, AMI, and internal policies.
Conduct preliminary evaluation of clients based on creditworthiness.
Coordinate with the credit team for approval and disbursement processes.

Qualifications

Minimum of university Degree in any finance-related discipline with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division.
Ability to meet targets and work under pressure.
Willingness to travel and conduct field visits.
0-1 year of experience as a credit officer, especially SME or business loans.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
