Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and client-focused Clinic Assistant to join our thriving eyecare facility in Victoria Island, Lagos. This role is crucial in ensuring a positive and efficient experience for all our patients.

In this position, you will be the first point of contact, managing client interactions, registrations, and processing purchases. You will also play a key role in maintaining clinic organization, liaising with HMOs, and ensuring timely delivery of client orders. Your proactive approach to problem-solving will be highly valued.

This is a full-time, on-site position requiring you to reside in or very close to VI, Lagos. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am to 4 pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the clinic space is organized and clean.
  • Attend to clients as the first point of contact and meet their needs promptly.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and concerns effectively.
  • Register new clients in the clinic’s management software.
  • Process client purchases (consultation, tests, products) in the management software.
  • Liaise with HMOs for client servicing.
  • Coordinate with the Logistics Officer for frame/lens fixing and delivery.
  • Follow up on social media comments and inquiries to convert online leads.
  • Develop proactive problem-solving ideas for patient concerns.
  • Monitor stock levels and alert the clinic manager for re-ordering.
  • Compile sales reports.
  • Sort, label, and input inventory (frames, cases, drugs, accessories) into the management software.
  • Follow up with locum optometrists to ensure attendance for appointments.
  • Assist the Optometrist with inputting patient case reports into the management software.

Qualifications

  • Must reside close to VI, Lagos.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using clinic management software.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
