Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust backend systems and APIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy.
Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Senior Backend Engineer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in backend programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java).
Extensive experience with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Deep understanding of API design principles (RESTful, GraphQL).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
Familiarity with microservices architecture.
Experience in the fintech industry or with payment systems is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
