Required Skills

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production-ready agentic AI systems.
• Build customer care automation, knowledge management pipelines, and intelligent targeting/decision-making engines.
• Ensure scalable, reliable, and high-performance AI solutions.
• Work directly with Anthropic and/or OpenAI SDKs in production.
• Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) when appropriate.
• Manage data layers using PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy 2.0, Alembic migrations, pgvector, and Redis.
• Ship systems with production guardrails: cost controls, latency budgets, escalation/fallback paths, and evaluation loops.
• Utilize LLM observability tools (e.g., Langfuse, LangSmith).
• Develop and iterate on prompts, including building or using eval frameworks.
• Contribute to the development of MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers or similar tool-exposure patterns.
• Handle multilingual applications and evaluations (nice-to-have).

Qualifications

• Strong Python (3.11+) proficiency.
• Production experience in FastAPI services.
• Experience designing or building multi-step agentic workflows.
• Experience building directly against Anthropic and/or OpenAI SDKs in production.
• Comfort working without heavy abstraction layers.
• Understanding of when structured/keyed database lookups beat vector search.
• Comfort with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy 2.0 (async), Alembic migrations, pgvector, and Redis.
• Experience shipping systems with production guardrails (cost controls, latency budgets, escalation/fallback paths, evaluation loops).
• Familiarity with an LLM observability tool (Langfuse, LangSmith, Helicone, or equivalent).
• Practical experience writing, testing, and iterating on prompts, including building or using eval frameworks.
• Exposure to MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers or similar tool-exposure patterns is a strong plus.
• Multilingual experience (Arabic or other non-English LLM applications) is a nice-to-have.
• A public GitHub profile with real, browsable work is required.
• Solid hands-on experience as a builder, not just an architect or manager.
• Ownership and proactivity; ability to identify problems and drive them to completion.
• Riyadh-based or willing to work hybrid with regular in-person presence in Riyadh.
