Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Senior Technical Advisor specializing in Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI) to join our transformative team. In this leadership role, you will provide expert technical guidance and strategic direction, ensuring that GESI principles are effectively integrated across all programmatic interventions.
You will lead the development and implementation of robust GESI strategies, policies, and frameworks, driving equitable and inclusive outcomes. A key aspect of this position involves building the capacity of staff and partners in gender analysis, GBV prevention, and youth-inclusive programming.
Your responsibilities will also include conducting gender assessments and disaggregated data analysis to inform program adjustments, advocating for gender-transformative policies, and engaging with diverse stakeholders, including marginalized groups. Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance on Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI) across all programs.
- Lead the development and implementation of GESI strategies, policies, and frameworks.
- Ensure effective integration of GESI principles into program design, implementation, and monitoring.
- Build capacity of staff and partners on gender analysis, GBV prevention, and inclusive programming.
- Conduct gender assessments and disaggregated data analysis to inform program adjustments.
- Advocate for gender-transformative policies and practices with government and partners.
- Engage with diverse stakeholders, including marginalized groups, to promote inclusive approaches.
- Contribute to work plans, reports, and knowledge management related to GESI.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in gender equality and social inclusion programming.
- Demonstrated expertise in gender analysis, GBV prevention, and youth-inclusive approaches.
- Proven experience working with donor-funded projects and integrating GESI across sectors.
- Strong analytical, communication, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to facilitate training and provide effective technical assistance.
