Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer to provide technical leadership for our offshore operations.

In this critical role, you will oversee the maintenance and reliability of rotating equipment on FPSOs, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your responsibilities will include supporting offshore operations, leading condition monitoring initiatives, and conducting thorough failure investigations.

You will collaborate closely with OEMs to resolve complex equipment issues and drive operational excellence across vital production assets. This position requires a deep understanding of various equipment types and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of engineering practice.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical Engineering degree
  • COREN registration or Chartered Engineer
  • Minimum of 15 years' offshore production experience (FPSO preferred)
  • Expertise in compressors, turbines, pumps, generators, cranes, vibration analysis, and root cause failure analysis
  • Experience with static equipment, pressure vessels, piping, and valves
  • BOSIET and offshore medical certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • OEM experience (Siemens, Solar, Baker Hughes, or Atlas Copco) is an advantage
  • Reliability-centred maintenance and criticality assessment experience is an advantage
  • Fluency in English; French and West Africa regional experience are an advantage
  • Available to mobilise at short notice
