Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our operations team in Port Harcourt.

In this critical role, you will contribute to the maintenance and optimization of mechanical rotating equipment within deep-water operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the development of maintenance plans, coordinating external resources for offshore support, and providing essential technical assistance for maintenance interventions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Head of section (Head of Mechanical Rotating Equipment) for the updating of the Maintenance Plans including dedicated procedures, spare parts coverage, tools selection and other technical aspects, in accordance with the Maintenance Policy.
  • Aid with mobilization and coordination of external resources (vendors, contractors, means and equipment) to support the offshore staff in view of ensuring equipment integrity.
  • Provide technical assistance at site, or in contractor workshops for maintenance interventions preparation (including major shutdown or overhaul works), maintenance works follow-up, works supervision, material receipt, specific investigations, studies, equipment condition monitoring, etc.
  • Perform studies or technical-administrative tasks as required for routine operations or in view of maintenance or equipment optimization.

Qualifications

  • Engineer University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Knowledge in Turbo machineries.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience as Mechanical Engineer including 5 in the Petrochemical industry.
  • Minimum 5 years in supervisory operational position.
