Job Description
HelpMum is seeking a mission-driven AI Engineer to spearhead the development and deployment of life-saving AI models.
In this impactful role, you will design, train, and fine-tune machine learning models, with a strong emphasis on Natural Language Processing (NLP) for chatbots and predictive analytics for health risk stratification.
You will lead the further development of MamaBot-Llama, focusing on fine-tuning open-source LLMs, such as Llama 3, to deliver localized and medically accurate health advice.
Your responsibilities will also include architecting and maintaining scalable AI pipelines using cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) to ensure reliable performance in low-bandwidth environments. You will collaborate with field teams to clean and preprocess unique maternal health datasets, ensuring data integrity and quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, train, and fine-tune machine learning models with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) for chatbots and Predictive Analytics for health risk stratification

Qualifications

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with unique maternal health datasets is an advantage
