Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers and vendors
  • Prepare purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement issues
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
  • Coordinate with operations, finance, and warehouse teams
  • Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • 2–5 years experience in procurement, preferably in the oil & gas sector
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail
  • Professional certification (CIPS, CPSM, or related) is an added advantage
  • Experience with oilfield equipment and technical procurement is an added advantage
