Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team and manage the vital process of sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment, and services essential for our oil and gas operations.
In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that procurement is conducted in a timely and cost-effective manner, without compromising on the quality and adherence to industry standards. Your expertise will directly contribute to the efficiency and success of our operations.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers and vendors
- Prepare purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement issues
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Coordinate with operations, finance, and warehouse teams
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- 2–5 years experience in procurement, preferably in the oil & gas sector
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Professional certification (CIPS, CPSM, or related) is an added advantage
- Experience with oilfield equipment and technical procurement is an added advantage
