Job Description

Kaizen Asset Management Services is seeking a dedicated Project Accountant to join their expanding team. This is a remote opportunity specifically for Emirati professionals, aligning with the UAE's vision for national workforce development.

In this role, you will be pivotal in managing the financial health of property management projects. Your responsibilities will include ensuring effective budget management, maintaining accurate financial records, and producing reports that adhere to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain project budget forecasts, actuals, and variance analysis
  • Monitor project expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets
  • Review and approve invoices, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and contractors
  • Prepare monthly financial reports on project performance for management review
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Work closely with project managers on cost control and financial planning
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Perform reconciliations of project accounts
  • Assist senior finance team with ad-hoc reporting and analysis
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audit purposes

Qualifications

  • UAE National (Emirati) with Family Book
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., ERP systems)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage deadlines effectively
