Job Description

Regent Real Estate is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to lead our residential development projects in Lagos.

In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include planning and coordinating all project phases, interpreting technical drawings, developing detailed work programs, and managing site teams, contractors, and vendors effectively.

You will also oversee procurement, enforce health and safety regulations, and liaise with regulatory bodies to secure necessary approvals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee residential development projects from inception to handover
  • Interpret and implement architectural and structural drawings in line with design specifications
  • Develop and manage detailed programs of work, ensuring strict adherence to timelines
  • Manage site teams, contractors, consultants, and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Monitor and control project budgets, resources, and procurement processes
  • Enforce health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards across all sites
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies including LASBCA to obtain and maintain necessary approvals
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and key stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 to 8 years' experience in construction project management, with a strong focus on residential development
  • Proven track record of delivering residential projects from planning through to buyer handover
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, quality control, and program of works
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • B.Eng., B.Sc., in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • COREN registration is required
  • PMP or CPM certification is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent
