Job Description
Join nDreams Limited as a Junior Automated QA Engineer and play a crucial role in ensuring the high quality of our immersive VR games. You will be instrumental in supporting and enhancing our automated testing processes, contributing directly to the reliability and effectiveness of our game builds.
In this fully remote position within the UK, you will collaborate closely with our QA team and the wider studio. Your responsibilities will include hands-on scripting, developing automated tests, and providing technical support to streamline testing infrastructure and ensure stable pipelines.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Write scripts to deploy builds to devices automatically as part of an automated test suite.
- Author and maintain functional automated tests as determined by the needs of the project.
- Support other team members in their development of functional and performance testing.
- Work with QA stakeholders to ensure they can test builds efficiently, writing scripts or extending tools as necessary.
- Work with IT and other relevant parties to ensure that infrastructure remains healthy and outages are resolved promptly.
- Maintain stability in projects by correcting markup issues that prevent automated tests running, liaising with other teams as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience writing code or scripts in a high-level language (e.g. Python)
- Knowledge of CI/CD systems such as TeamCity, Jenkins, or Epic’s Horde
- Familiarity with industry-standard source control systems, such as Perforce or Git
- Experience working with Unreal Engine and the Unreal Editor environment
- Experience working with Blueprints or Python scripts to automate functionality within Unreal
- A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to troubleshoot effectively
