Job Description

Midnite is a rapidly growing sports betting and gaming platform dedicated to creating modern, intuitive, and engaging experiences for players.

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Admin & AI Enablement team. This role is instrumental in developing our internal back office platform and integrating AI capabilities to enhance both internal tooling and engineering workflows.

You will be responsible for building fullstack features, owning projects end-to-end from backend APIs to internal UIs. This position involves writing production code in Python for the backend and utilizing modern frontend technologies like Vue and Tailwind. You will collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to deliver high-quality internal experiences and explore innovative AI applications.

This is a senior individual contributor role offering significant ownership and the opportunity to shape the evolution of our internal systems and engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

Build fullstack features for Midnite’s internal back office platform.
Own features end-to-end across backend APIs and internal UIs.
Write production code across Python backend and modern frontend technologies (Vue + Tailwind).
Work closely with Product and Design to implement high-quality internal experiences.
Design and build APIs as part of fullstack feature delivery.
Contribute to practical AI-enabled features and internal tooling improvements.
Explore ways AI and automation can improve engineering workflows and team efficiency.
Participate in code reviews and maintain a high quality bar across the codebase.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to raising the technical standard of the team.

Qualifications

5+ years of engineering experience across frontend and backend.
Strong frontend capability in a modern JavaScript framework such as Vue, React, or Angular.
Backend development experience in Python or a similar language.
Ability to build end-to-end features across UI, API, and database layers.
Experience working closely with Product to build good product experiences.
Strong ownership and ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
Interest in AI tooling, automation, and practical experimentation.
Clear communication skills and ability to work well with Product, Design, and engineering teammates.
