Job Description

Newrich Network is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join their dynamic, globally distributed team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to a cutting-edge creator platform, impacting user experience and driving business growth.

You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining robust server-side applications using PHP 8, Laravel 10, Node.JS, and Golang, alongside building and optimizing APIs for performance, scalability, and security. Front-end development will involve implementing features with React.js (18.2).

This position requires a proactive approach to working with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code reviews. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and manage integrations with cloud services, primarily on AWS. Maintaining comprehensive documentation and ensuring adherence to security best practices are also key responsibilities.

Success in this role means reliably delivering features in Laravel and React, continuously improving the codebase and engineering workflows, and fostering team autonomy and productivity. Stakeholders will rely on your clear communication and consistent delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain server-side applications (PHP 8, Laravel 10, Node.JS, Golang, MySQL).
Build and optimize APIs, ensure performance, scalability, and security.
Implement front-end features with React.js (18.2).
Work with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor juniors.
Manage integrations between systems and cloud services (AWS).
Maintain documentation, database schemas, and ensure security best practices.

Qualifications

5+ years as Software Developer with proven project track record.
Strong knowledge of PHP 8, Laravel 9+, MySQL, React.js 18.2 (or any other frontend framework).
Strong knowledge of Golang, Gin - or any other Golang Framework
Experience with HTML/CSS/JS, RESTful APIs, Git.
Docker/Kubernetes, AWS (or similar cloud).
Solid database design and optimization skills.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and ability to work independently.
Experience with PHPUnit or similar testing frameworks.
Good understanding of web app security.
Fluency in English (written & spoken).
Strong ownership mentality — you unblock yourself and move work forward
A bias toward shipping and learning over waiting for perfect answers
Experience writing production code in Laravel and React
Comfort moving across the stack rather than staying siloed
Proactive, collaborative, and clear communicator
Willingness to document your work and improve processes
WebRTC, FFMPEG, HLS, SRT, RTMP, DRM (Nice to have)
Node.js/Express, GitHub Actions (Nice to have)
NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) (Nice to have)
Experience in a multi-service/microservices-style architecture (Nice to have)
Familiarity with AWS services such as ECS/ECR, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Redis, Amazon MQ, and Lambda (Nice to have)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (especially CloudFormation-style templates and environment parameterization) (Nice to have)
Experience improving GitHub Actions workflows and CI/CD pipelines (Nice to have)
Familiarity with automated testing and quality tooling (Pest/PHPUnit, Vitest, Playwright, ESLint/Prettier, Pint, Psalm) (Nice to have)
