We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in managing project finances. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of four days in the office and one remote day, dedicated to cost reporting, documentation, and analysis. Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from initial calculations to final figures.
- Provide advice on procurement strategy and manage tendering processes.
- Analyze outcomes and write detailed financial reports.
- Prepare and submit bills of quantities.
- Manage and reduce costs across project lifecycles.
- Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.
- Ensure all relevant health and safety regulations are adhered to.
- Prepare cost estimates and valuations for variations.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Prior experience in an interior design or fit-out company is mandatory.
- Exposure to residential, commercial, or hospitality interior projects is preferred.
- Progress toward professional membership (NIQS, RICS, CIOB) is an advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of interior finishes, joinery, and FF&E cost components.
- Excellent measurement, cost estimation, and analytical skills.
