Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects.
  • Manage tender processes, including evaluating bids and negotiating contracts.
  • Monitor project costs throughout the construction lifecycle, identifying and managing variations.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Prepare interim and final payment valuations.
  • Advise on procurement strategies and contract options.
  • Maintain accurate cost records and provide regular financial reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification (e.g., RICS, NIQS) is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
  • Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
