Job Description

Tether is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Regulatory Affairs to lead the design and implementation of global regulatory strategies for its burgeoning AI and P2P technology initiatives.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for navigating the complex and evolving landscape of AI regulations, data privacy laws, and P2P governance. Your expertise will be vital in advising executive leadership on potential regulatory risks and opportunities, driving initiatives to influence regulatory frameworks, and ensuring proactive compliance across all operations.

You will engage directly with regulatory authorities, industry bodies, and policymakers to shape the future of AI and P2P technologies. This position requires a deep understanding of ethical AI principles and the ability to integrate regulatory considerations seamlessly into product design and deployment.

Demonstrated experience working with regulators and government bodies advocating and advising in a regulatory capacity.
Expertise in preparing complex regulatory documents and major regulatory submissions.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Policy, Computer Science, or related fields.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across borders and time zones.
Must be a strong team player, willing to be fully engaged with key stakeholders.
Desirable: Legal, compliance, or policy background with a deep understanding of ethical AI principles.
Desirable: Demonstrated understanding of decentralized, self-sovereign, and locally executed AI/P2P architectures.
Must be a hands-on professional capable of working collaboratively and independently.
