Job Description
We are actively seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. This position requires a deep understanding of quality assurance principles and a proven ability to implement robust testing strategies, with a strong emphasis on automation. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans to identify and resolve defects.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java and open-source tools
- Perform API testing using tools like Rest Assured, SOAPUI, Postman, and Karate
- Implement BDD with Cucumber for behavior-driven development
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning
- Utilize CI/CD tools and processes for seamless integration and deployment
- Conduct performance testing using JMeter
- Write and execute basic SQL queries for data validation
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and improve product quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance Engineering
- Proficiency in Java Development with J2EE for test automation
- Experience with open-source automation testing tools
- Familiarity with repository systems like GitHub or Bitbucket
- Experience testing Services using automation tools such as Rest Assured, SOAPUI, Postman, and Karate
- Experience with BDD and Cucumber
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Development (CD) processes and tools
- Experience working in Agile teams
- Proficiency with Maven and IDEs (Eclipse, IntelliJ, VS Code)
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Exposure to Cloud technology
- Experience in building stubs/Mocks
- Hands-on SQL basic queries (CRUD)
- Performance testing experience (Jmeter)
- Understanding of Linux system (Knowledge on commands)
- Hands-on experience of working on APIs
- Hands on experience on performance testing (JMeter)
