Job Description
PZ Cussons is seeking a dedicated Factory Technician to join our dynamic team in Ikorodu. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of our manufacturing plant, ensuring all equipment functions optimally and safely.
Your day-to-day activities will involve executing scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, swiftly responding to and resolving equipment breakdowns, and conducting essential calibrations. You will meticulously record all maintenance activities, manage spare parts inventory, and adhere strictly to safety protocols. This position is vital for ensuring continuous production and upholding our high standards of quality and reliability.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled preventive and breakdown maintenance tasks.
- Perform calibrations and inspection checks across the plant.
- Record and communicate all maintenance activities in log registers.
- Raise purchase orders for consumed or required spare parts.
- Record work orders and work permits, adhering to safety requirements.
- Ensure 100% compliance with schedules and non-conformance clearing.
- Minimize plant downtime by ensuring timely availability of spares.
Qualifications
- HND/B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or related engineering courses.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent ability in handling numbers and figures.
- Demonstrated ability to identify improvement opportunities.
- Good time management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and technical skills.
- Good financial analysis skills.
