Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Supervisor to lead and mentor our accounting team in the Gulf region. This critical role involves overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

You will be responsible for reviewing financial transactions, assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with all accounting standards. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining robust financial controls and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guide a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAN, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Financials) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
