Job Description

Pion is seeking a highly skilled Senior Delivery Lead to join its award-winning platform. This role is crucial for operationalizing the Strategic Delivery Excellence pillar, ensuring strategic priorities are translated into well-governed delivery plans with clear business outcomes.

You will be responsible for owning the delivery engine, making it a single source of truth for strategic initiatives to bring focus, accountability, and transparency. Your role will involve cutting through noise to drive outcomes, creating clear delivery plans, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring work leads to tangible business value.

This position requires you to apply appropriate structure and governance to initiatives, balancing speed and rigor. You will proactively identify and address risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, stepping in to keep delivery moving at pace. Transparency in reporting and partnership with leadership are key, coaching them to deliver better results.

A significant aspect of this role involves leveraging AI for continuous improvement within the Portfolio Delivery system, identifying opportunities and implementing changes at scale. This is a remote-first position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from abroad.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the delivery engine: Operationalize the Portfolio Delivery system as a single source of truth for all strategic initiatives.
  • Cut through noise, drive outcomes: Create clear delivery plans, align stakeholders, maintain momentum, and ensure work leads to tangible business value.
  • Make delivery fit the problem: Apply just enough structure and governance to each initiative, balancing speed and rigor.
  • Spot issues early, unblock fast: Get ahead of risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, stepping in to keep delivery moving at pace.
  • Make delivery transparent and real: Introduce simple, honest reporting that surfaces issues early.
  • Be a true partner to leadership: Work side-by-side with C-suite and senior leaders to drive clarity, accountability, and execution.
  • AI Led Continuous Improvement: Identify improvement opportunities within the Portfolio Delivery system and leverage AI to implement changes at scale.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in end-to-end portfolio management and delivery governance across various change initiatives, particularly with GTM or Commercial teams.
  • Strong capability in managing and improving delivery systems or similar single-source-of-truth tracking systems.
  • Experience leading delivery activities across multiple teams in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Expertise in right-sizing various delivery methodologies for complex change initiatives.
  • Ability to confidently collaborate with and influence C-suite and senior leaders while holding them accountable for delivery.
  • People-focused, dynamic, proactive, self-led, collaborative, and adaptable.
  • AI Savvy; previous experience with Claude is an added bonus.
