Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HubSpot Marketing Assistant to join our remote team.

In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling and publishing approved content across social media platforms using HubSpot. You will also write engaging captions, manage community engagement, and build email marketing campaigns.

Key duties include maintaining CRM data hygiene, building and managing marketing reports, and creating HubSpot workflows to support campaigns. You will also assist with the day-to-day management of Meta Ads campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and publish approved content across social media platforms via HubSpot
  • Write engaging captions for routine/templated posts, aligned with the company’s brand voice and messaging
  • Manage community engagement: responding to comments and direct messages, escalating sensitive or complex enquiries as needed
  • Build, schedule, and send email marketing campaigns and newsletters via HubSpot
  • Maintain CRM data hygiene in HubSpot: updating and tagging marketing contacts and cleaning lists
  • Build and manage marketing reports in HubSpot, tracking content, email, and campaign performance
  • Create and manage HubSpot workflows to support marketing campaigns and lead nurturing
  • Maintain the content calendar: tracking deadlines and following up with internal stakeholders for updates, photos, and approvals
  • Assist with day-to-day management of existing Meta Ads campaigns, monitoring performance and making minor optimisations as directed (campaign strategy, budget, and all major decisions remain with the Marketing Manager)

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years’ hands-on experience in a marketing role (in-house or agency)
  • Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts and content calendars for a business or brand
  • Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to write on-brand captions and email content from brief examples
  • Strong working knowledge of HubSpot, including social media scheduling, email campaign builds, CRM/contact management, workflow creation, and reporting
  • Confident, professional communication style: able to represent a premium brand when engaging with customers online
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks independently
  • Comfortable working autonomously and proactively flagging issues
  • Experience managing or assisting with paid Meta advertising campaigns is highly desirable
  • Background in marketing for a service-based, trade, construction, or design business is highly preferred
