Job Description

Seeq is at the forefront of data analytics, developing innovative software for industrial process data across pharmaceuticals, energy, and manufacturing sectors. Our flagship product features a powerful calculation engine, adept at executing advanced mathematical and machine learning algorithms on streaming time-series data. We further enhance user experience and accelerate outcomes through the strategic integration of generative AI.

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer who is deeply passionate about crafting elegant, extensible, and maintainable code. You are meticulous and detail-oriented, a strong advocate for unit testing, continuous integration, and innovative solutions, always eager to squash bugs promptly.

Beyond your individual technical prowess, you have embraced leadership roles, mentoring colleagues to scale team capabilities. You thrive on collaboration, engaging in pair-programming and code reviews as valuable learning opportunities for both yourself and others.

Your expertise spans the entire tech stack, with proficiency in JVM languages or Python for backend development. You are comfortable with databases, distributed computing, and cloud platforms. On the frontend, you excel at creating visually appealing interfaces for our TypeScript and React applications.

Driven by a desire to solve complex problems, you aim to make an impact that extends beyond your direct technical contributions. You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, coupled with substantial years as a Senior software development engineer, leading successful team efforts. Qualifications

A Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Substantial professional experience in software development, with a solid record of designing, building, and evolving complex software systems over a period of years.
Demonstrated strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Expertise in building large React applications with TypeScript.
Expertise in one or more backend languages, such as Python or Node.js.
Ability to work effectively across frontend and backend codebases, owning features end-to-end.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with great attention to detail.
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior engineers.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban.
