Job Description
Red Energy is seeking a meticulous Data Cleanse Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data during the migration phase of the company's Core Retail Platform project.
You will be responsible for executing data cleansing scripts, utilizing data quality tools, and collaborating with various stakeholders to validate data rules. Maintaining comprehensive documentation of all cleansing processes will be a key aspect of your work, ensuring auditability and compliance.
This hybrid position offers a flexible work arrangement, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, promoting an excellent work-life balance.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Execute data cleansing scripts, tools, and manual processes, monitoring data quality throughout the cleansing lifecycle.
- Utilize existing data quality tools and platforms, documenting processes, queries, and routines using SQL and Python.
- Serve as a point of contact for data cleansing inquiries, communicating with project managers, data architects, business analysts, and data owners to validate rules and obtain sign-offs.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all data cleansing processes, rules, outcomes, and data lineage for audit and compliance.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with data quality, support contingency planning, and provide post-migration validation and reconciliation support.
Qualifications
- Proven track record working on large-scale and complex integration/migration projects, specifically within data cleansing.
- Strong technical capabilities with experience documenting data cleansing processes and scripts using SQL, Python, or specialized tools.
- Prior experience working within the energy sector is highly preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, influencing abilities, and a dedicated customer focus.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, enjoy taking on complex challenges, and possess a genuine drive to see things through to completion.
