Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Data Specialist with expertise in Product Information Management (PIM) systems to join our client's team. This is an initial full-time contract role extending until June 2027, offering the flexibility of remote work within the UK or Europe.

In this critical position, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality and integrity of product data across the EMEA Region. Your contributions will be integral to a broader data migration program, ensuring seamless and accurate data flow. A prerequisite for this role is extensive prior experience with data syndication (ETL) within leading PIM platforms such as InRiver or Salsify.

This hands-on role requires a meticulous individual responsible for guaranteeing the completeness, quality, and accuracy of product data sourced from various systems. You will be instrumental in supporting the timely launch of new products across multiple regions. A significant part of your responsibilities will involve rigorous Quality Assurance (QA), validating and cross-checking data across diverse platforms to ensure it adheres to the necessary standards for successful product introductions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all mandatory product data across core systems is complete, accurate, and up to date, following established QA processes for e-commerce platforms.
  • Coordinate with data owners to correct discrepancies and maintain consistency across various data systems.
  • Identify areas for data quality improvement and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify data requests and resolve any data-related issues, ensuring alignment with product launch schedules.
  • Create and manage detailed reports on product data status and track progress of product launches.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management principles and data integrity concepts, with specific expertise in syndication within InRiver or Salsify PIM systems.
  • Proven experience in an e-commerce or retail environment, particularly with platforms serving multiple countries and markets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data tools for managing data inputs, outputs, and dashboard creation.
  • Familiarity with a diverse range of data management systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the complete product data lifecycle, from creation through to launch.
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail, capable of identifying discrepancies and data gaps.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with both business and technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity in all data-related discussions.
