Job Description

The Cadillac Formula 1® Team is seeking a highly analytical and commercially astute Senior Business Intelligence Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This pivotal role is designed to significantly enhance data-informed financial decision-making within our dynamic organization.

You will be instrumental in bridging complex performance data with critical financial insights, directly contributing to our strategic initiatives. Your work will support both our on-track competitiveness and off-track profitability through precise and actionable intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively design and maintain Power BI dashboards for comprehensive financial reporting, including P&L, Cashflow, and key performance indicators (KPIs), to provide clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage month-end dashboards to support the Finance Business Partner team with in-depth data analytics.
  • Lead the transition from Power BI Premium Per User (PPU) to Microsoft Fabric Capacity, applying best practice principles to redesign existing dataflows and transformations.
  • Integrate diverse data sources seamlessly into the new Fabric Capacity environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging new features and capabilities within Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
  • Ensure robust data governance processes are consistently maintained and adhered to, promoting data consistency across all financial datasets and systems.
  • Collaborate with data science teams to support the transition to AI-driven reporting, encompassing advanced forecasting and anomaly detection capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to data accuracy.
  • Possess strong SQL skills and extensive experience working with relational databases.
  • Proven exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure, other cloud platforms, or advanced data warehousing solutions.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and effective dashboard design.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics.
  • A solid understanding of financial reporting principles, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Proven experience in data governance, data quality management, and validation processes.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field (desirable).
  • Experience with Python or other analytical tools (desirable).
  • Previous experience working effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure environments (desirable).
