Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert and consultant for pricing decisions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and governance, covering aspects like price, margins, cost structures, discounts, and promotions influenced by demand, lifecycle, and inventory.
- Undertake regular, rigorous analysis and ongoing monitoring of customer, dealer, competitor, and market data, informing the business through various forums and mediums.
- Develop and maintain robust pricing models specifically for spare parts categories.
- Ensure parts pricing margins are correctly set, maintain pricing accuracy, and manage data within the ERP system, including assisting with annual price file updates.
- Generate a broad range of scheduled and ad-hoc reports, including profitability analysis, pricing performance, dashboards, and overall performance against company parts sales targets and compliance reporting.
- Participate in and/or act as a subject matter expert on relevant departmental or cross-functional projects.
- Implement approved initiatives to enhance the parts pricing function, data quality, and systems/record-keeping.
- Investigate and respond to dealer pricing review requests, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Support master data uploads as directed, ensuring data accuracy is consistently maintained within the ERP system, potentially performing Senior Master Data Analyst duties.
- Perform other duties within the limits of knowledge, skill, and capability as directed.
- Ensure the health and safety of yourself, contractors, visitors, and others in the workplace, adhering strictly to OHS policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Completed secondary education.
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or business field is highly desired.
- Demonstrated senior subject matter expert experience in a similar position, with a strong focus on data analysis, pricing strategy, and execution, delivering proven commercial results. Experience within a spare parts context is desirable.
- Proven experience in setting pricing and margins for goods, coupled with exposure to revenue and expense control principles.
- Well-developed general business acumen, including exposure to sales, consumer behavior, and marketing principles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a particular emphasis on consultation, collaboration, report writing, and presenting data to drive data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional numeric capability and highly developed analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Proven expertise in planning and organizational management.
- Product knowledge of agricultural equipment, construction machinery, and power equipment is desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems for spare parts management, including advanced SAP system skills.
- Highly developed general computing skills across the Google Suite and advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team within a dynamic, fast-paced warehouse environment.
