Job Description

Tax Brilliance Advisors is seeking a detail-oriented Paraplanner / Service Assistant to join their remote team. This role is crucial in supporting advisors by preparing tax plans, projections, and client deliverables, ensuring a seamless and professional client experience.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the analytical backbone of the planning process. Your contributions will directly impact the firm's ability to deliver exceptional client service and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare client meeting folders, including agendas, prior-year tax returns, and projections.
  • Draft tax plan outlines for advisor review.
  • Update planning software and CRM with client financial data.
  • Identify potential tax-saving opportunities and insurance triggers.
  • Prepare financial summaries and scenario analyses for meetings.
  • Assist with follow-up emails, attaching deliverables and confirming next steps.
  • Ensure all documents are complete, accurate, and properly logged.
  • Support the Client Services team during peak periods.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in financial planning, tax prep support, or paraplanning.
  • Strong understanding of tax planning concepts (deductions, entities, retirement accounts).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify errors or missed opportunities.
  • Comfortable with financial/tax planning software and CRMs.
  • Strong written and organizational skills; ability to present data clearly.
  • Proactive and coachable with a positive attitude.
